Client was charged with open murder based upon the testimony of a co-defendant who was allowed to plead guilty to a lesser charge after testifying that the client was solely responsible for the murder. Mr. Bartish tried the case to a Kent County jury over three says and provided evidence through cross examination that the state’s main witness was likely the actual perpetrator of the murder. A Kent County jury acquitted Mr. Bartish’s client of all charges after 35 minutes of deliberation.
